In the process of coal gas production, a part of tar is suspended in the gas with extremely small droplets, and the particle size is 1-7 μ M. The tar mist in the gas will be washed down in the subsequent gas purification process and enter the solution or adsorb on the pipeline and equipment, resulting in solution pollution, product quality reduction, equipment and pipeline blockage. 1. Safety operation requirements of electric tar precipitator
There are two kinds of equipment for collecting tar mist in coal gas: Organic tar precipitator and electric tar precipitator. According to the structure of precipitator, electric tar precipitator can be divided into tube type, honeycomb type, concentric circle type and plate type. Both positive and negative electrodes are generated under the action of high-voltage static electricity, so that the tar mist in the gas will be trapped under the action of high-voltage electric field when passing through the electric tar precipitator along with the gas. As gas is flammable and explosive, it is necessary to ensure the safe operation of electric tar precipitator. In addition, there is corona between the electrodes of the electric tar precipitator, which may cause spark discharge. If the gas is mixed with oxygen, the explosion will occur when the mixture ratio of gas and oxygen reaches the explosion limit.
2. Control of oxygen content in gas
The main sources of oxygen are as follows
One is the air entering due to leakage of equipment and pipeline in the production process;
The second is the excess or short circuit of gasification agent;
Third, in the gas production process, there will be a certain amount of air into the gas. In order to ensure that the mixture of air and gas does not reach the explosion limit, the oxygen content in the gas should be controlled.
According to the code for design of town gas (GB 50028-2006), when the volume percentage of oxygen in dry distillation gas is more than 1%, the electric tar precipitator shall send out alarm signal. When the volume percentage of oxygen reaches 2%, the power supply should be cut off immediately. "Industrial enterprise gas safety regulations" (GB 6222-2005) also has this provision. These Regulations are based on the limit that the volume percentage of oxygen in gas should not exceed 1%.
