System Overview
CEMS online monitoring of greenhouse gases
Carbon peaking and carbon neutrality are major strategic decisions made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the new situation. They are important tools for addressing climate change, promoting the construction of a new development pattern, and promoting high-quality economic development. China has officially submitted the "National Independent Contribution Plan" to the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which clearly states that it plans to peak carbon emissions around 2030 and will strive to do so as soon as possible. At the same time, the carbon emission intensity per unit of GDP will decrease by 60% -65% compared to 2005. The above indicators are included as binding indicators in the medium and long-term plans for national economic and social development.
Scientific and accurate monitoring of greenhouse gas concentrations and sources is the foundation of greenhouse gas emission statistics and verification. It not only helps to objectively, comprehensively, and timely grasp the laws of greenhouse gas emissions and evolution, improve the accuracy of greenhouse gas inventory preparation, but also correctly understands the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of various departments and industries, and supervises their implementation of emission reduction goals, providing comprehensive and solid information and data for government management decision-making. At the same time, accurately tracking and monitoring greenhouse gas emissions from various departments and industries helps to allocate carbon emission quotas reasonably, making the market mechanism for carbon emission trading more effective.
Based on the importance of monitoring greenhouse gas data for carbon emission control and our company's years of technical experience, our company has launched the TR-9300T continuous monitoring system for carbon dioxide emissions from fixed pollution sources, which can meet the needs of monitoring and evaluating greenhouse gas emissions from fixed pollution sources, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of regional and urban greenhouse gas governance, guiding path optimization, and policy formulation.
The TR-9300T fixed pollution source carbon dioxide emission continuous monitoring system is designed using extraction cold dry analysis technology. Mainly monitoring the carbon dioxide content in exhaust emissions from fixed pollution sources, a single monitoring system adopts a monitoring platform probe+pretreatment+industrial computer+LCD display+data acquisition instrument architecture mode to complete the functional requirements of receiving, storing, displaying, and transmitting monitoring data.
The significance of carbon emission monitoring
Carbon emission tracing and precise quantification provide data support for global climate services, achieving precise quantification of greenhouse gas emissions:
1) The relationship between human activities and climate change;
2) Provide data support for carbon trading and climate change negotiations between countries;
3) Traceability and precise quantification of regional carbon emissions;
4) Analyze the effectiveness of emission reduction measures;
5) Warning and forecast of extreme weather.
Monitoring plan
The TR-9300T fixed pollution source carbon dioxide emission continuous monitoring system adopts non dispersed infrared analysis method, which measures accurately, has a short response time, and a fast detection method. The system adopts the principle of extraction cold dry sampling, which means that the flue gas is extracted by a high-temperature probe, filtered with dust, and then enters the high-temperature gas pipeline. It is then processed by the system pretreatment device to perform two-stage condensation and water removal as well as two-stage high-precision filtration on the flue gas. After dust removal, dehumidification, stable pressure, and stable flow, the dry and clean flue gas is sent to the analyzer unit for real-time online analysis, and the monitoring data is transmitted to the data acquisition and processing unit. The system measures carbon dioxide concentration, smoke parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rate or flow rate, humidity, etc.), calculates carbon dioxide emission rate and amount, displays (supports printing) and records various data and parameters, forms relevant charts, and transmits them to the ecological environment management department through data, graphics, and other means.
